Paul Antonelli

PAUL ANTONELLI (SPORTS EDITOR)

Paul is a graduate of SUNY Albany, and is a 10-time award winner of the New York Newspaper Publisher's Association and a member of the Associated Press Sports Editors. Antonelli covered 44 of Mike Tyson's 56 professional fights and was one of just five American journalists to cover Tyson's stunning loss to Buster Douglas in Tokyo, Japan. His Tyson stories appeared nationally (USA Today) as well as in some of the top publications internationally.

Antonelli was a long-time beat writer for the New York Giants, covering Super Bowl XXV and also spent three years covering the New York Knicks, including the team's appearance in the 1994 NBA Finals.

ADAM SHINDER (SPORTS REPORTER)

Adam Shinder has been covering sports at the Recorder since September 2008.

A native of Holland, Pa., Adam is a 2007 graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University with B.S. in Newspaper. He was the recipient of a 2008-09 and 2009-10 New York News Publishers Association award for Outstanding Sports Writing.

ED NOONAN (COLUMNIST)

Ed Noonan is a full time NYS licensed fishing guide and full time outdoor writer with weekly columns in the Recorder, Daily Gazette as well as a freelance of ADIRONDACK OUTDOORS, OUTDOORS NORTH, PRIME and NORTH COUNTRY LIVING magazines.

He is a member of the NYS Outdoor Writers Assn.,2010 inductee into the NYS Outdoorsmen Hall of Fame and recipient of the NYSOWA and Bass Pro Shops "PASS IT ON AWARD." He is an avid hunter and angler and has completed seven National Wild Turkey Federation Grand, Royal,World,Mexican and Canadian Slams.
