Photo courtesy the New York State Police According to a news release Monday, a Gloversville man was arrested Friday after authorities allegedly found marijuana plants and fireworks in his residence.

In a news release Monday from the New York State Police, it was announced that the State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) and troopers from the state police arrested Gloversville's 53-year-old George Buyce after an investigation and search of his residence allegedly located approximately 100 marijuana plants in various stages of growth, as well as lamps, ballasts and other equipment used to grow marijuana indoors, Friday.

There were allegedly more than 20 pounds of processed marijuana and a large supply of fireworks located at the residence.

Additional charges are pending.

In a news release, it was written that investigators are in the process of having the marijuana dried and gleaned from the stalks in order to determine the proper weight and the level of crime to charge regarding the alleged criminal possession of the marijuana.
