* Peter Samuels, 53, of 1 Evelyn St., was arrested Jan. 6 following a vehicle stop on East Main Street. Samuels was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, a misdemeanor, and was released on uniform traffic tickets to appear in Amsterdam City Court on Jan. 22.

* Jason Sponnas, 37, of 16 Romeyn Ave., was arrested Jan. 6 during a vehicle stop on Market Street. He was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and was released on $200 bail to appear in Amsterdam City Court later that week.

* Neil Rivera, 22, of 21 Addison St., Gloversville, was arrested Jan. 6 on an outstanding bench warrant from Amsterdam City Court for failure to appear. He was held for arraignment.

* David Velasquez, 18, of 318 Forest Ave., was arrested Jan. 6 following a vehicle stop on Coolidge Road. He was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, and released on an appearance ticket to appear in Amsterdam City Court on Jan. 22. Police say Velasquez was a passenger in the vehicle.

* Andrew Aviles, 20, of 163 Pulaski St., was arrested Jan. 6 following a vehicle stop on Coolidge Road. He was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, and released on an appearance ticket to appear in Amsterdam City Court on Jan. 22.

* Joshua Leach, 33, of 34 Milton Ave., was arrested Jan. 7 and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony; second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor; and second-degree coercion, a misdemeanor, during an investigation of an alleged domestic incident on Milton Avenue. Police say Leach threatened another individual with a knife. He was held for arraignment in Amsterdam City Court.

* Anthony Watkins, 22, of 5 McDonnell St., was arrested Jan. 7 on an active arrest warrant linked to a Dec. 28 domestic incident. Watkins was held for arraignment in Amsterdam City Court.

* Mary Swart, 44, of 5 Whitmore Ave., Gloversville, was arrested Jan. 7 following a vehicle stop on Northampton Road. She was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and released on traffic tickets.

* Elizabeth Roberson, 17, of 219 Division St., was arrested Jan. 7 on an active arrest warrant from Amsterdam City Court for fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. Police say Roberson threw a concrete block through a windshield on Dec. 28. She was held for arraignment.

* Mark Jodway, 46, of 197 Piseco Road, Stratford; Bryan Pawlus, 19, of 135 Ridge Road; and Jason Green, 30, of 165 Park St., were arrested Jan. 7 and each charged with third-degree burglary, a felony, and petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Police say the charges link to the burglary of scrap metal from a city building on Hover Street. They were held for arraignment in Amsterdam City Court.

* Juan Lopez-Gonzalez, 45, of 310 Grand St., was arrested Jan. 7 and charged with second-degree criminal trespass and fourth-degree criminal mischief, both misdemeanors. Police say the charges stem from an alleged domestic dispute. He was held for arraignment in Amsterdam City Court.

* Frederick Peters, 45, of 618 Clinton Ave., Albany, was arrested Jan. 7 on an outstanding bench warrant from Amsterdam City Court for failure to appear. He was held for arraignment.

* Tiffany Kello, 31, of 212 Throop Ave., Brooklyn, was arrested Jan. 8 on an outstanding bench warrant from Amsterdam City Court for failure to appear. She was held for arraignment.

* Matthew Hayes, 32, of 110 Forbes St., was arrested Jan. 8 on an outstanding bench warrant from Amsterdam City Court for failure to appear. He was held for arraignment.

* Brittany Holliman, 24, of 1703 Whitesboro St., Utica, was arrested Jan. 9 and charged with trespass, a violation, and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor. Police say the charges stem from an incident at St. Mary's Hospital where Holliman was giving hospital staff a hard time and refused to leave. She was held for arraignment in Amsterdam City Court.

* Joshua Quill, 26, of 10103 Baltimore Ave., College Park, Md., was arrested Jan. 9 following an alleged disturbance on Mason Avenue. Quill was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors. Police say he was in possession of an expandable baton and when attempting to place him under arrest he fought. He was also charged with disorderly conduct, a violation, and held for arraignment in Amsterdam City Court.

* Walter Albino, 24, of 7 Willard St., was arrested Jan. 9 on a Fulton County bench warrant for failure to appear. He was turned over to the Fulton County Sheriff's Department.

* Joseph Castro-Serrano, 25, of 53 Glen Ave., was arrested Jan. 9 on an outstanding parole warrant. Police say that when officers attempted to arrest him he resisted. He was additionally charged with resisting arrest, a misdemeanor, and was held for arraignment in Amsterdam City Court.

* Natalie Oshaughnessy, 20, of 358 Locust Ave., was arrested Jan. 9 on two outstanding bench warrants from Amsterdam City Court for failure to appear. She was held for arraignment.
