PERTH -- The Women's Republican Club of Fulton County will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Perth Town Hall.
Included on the April agenda will be a discussion of how to recruit and encourage outstanding Republican women to run for political office. The discussion will be a prelude to the May, June and July meetings.
Any Republican woman who is interested in running for political office or assisting a candidate's campaign is invited to come to the meeting.
Also on the agenda is a discussion of the current bylaws and increasing membership. Currently the club is conducting outreach meetings in various areas of Fulton and Montgomery counties in an effort to reach out to any registered Republican women.
Upcoming meetings' programs will include the roll of the Republican Party at local, state and national levels and the petition process in May; do's and don'ts of campaigning in June; and effective use of the media in July.
Any woman in the Broadalbin-Perth area or Montgomery County who is interested in learning more about the New York State Federation of Republican Women is encouraged to attend. Please call 725-7791 with any questions.
